Rodney Milen

Rodney Duane Milen, age 44, passed away on May 04, 2017 at Erlanger Hospital. Rodney was born on April 09, 1973 to Ben and Dean Milen. He received his BS in Economics as well as BS in Computer Science from Tennessee Wesleyan College. Rodney was passionate about woodworking and building custom guitars. Rodney married Tara Silcox Milen on November 08, 1997 and resided in Ocoee.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Tara; two children, Madison and Carson; parents, Ben and Dean Milen; parents-in-law, Gary and Berta Silcox; sister, Rhonda Pettijohn (Patrick); sister-in-law, Lisa Winters (Bryan); niece, Meghan Maples; nephews, Brody and Bryar Hambright; his dog & best friend, Hadley, all of Ocoee and Cleveland, TN. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 4:00pm on Sunday May 7, 2017 at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 200 Church Street NE, Cleveland, TN 37311.
A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 4:00pm, with Reverend Michael Whitmire and Reverend Jennifer Newell officiating the service.
Rodney will be laid to rest after the service in the Cookson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, in Ocoee.
