Rodney Bacon

Rodney E. Bacon of Georgetown, TN born on June 22, 1943, passed away on June 15, 2024 at the age of 80. Rodney is survived by his wife of 61 years Brenda, one son Greg and wife Lori Bacon of Birchwood, TN, one grandson Bradley and his wife Jessica Bacon of Georgetown, TN, and one great grandson Connor Bacon also of Georgetown, TN.

Rodney is preceded in by his parents Conner and Hazel Bacon of Georgetown, TN and one sister Janice Kennedy of Cleveland, TN.

Rodney graduated from Bichwood High School and lived in Georgetown all of his life. He worked at Dupont for several years before becoming an Owner/Operator in the trucking industry. After retiring from trucking, he obtained his contractor license and developed County Meadow Subdivision on Highway 58. He then became a full time farmer and farmed the rest of his remaining years.
