Robin Elaine Kellett, age 60, passed on August 1, 2021, at her home in Old Fort, TN.
Robin is survived by her son, Samuel Kellett and his wife Anna, her fiancé, Walter (Penny) Wade, her
sister, Debbie Hysinger and her husband Paul, her brothers, Michael Mowery and his wife Tammy,
Spencer Brooks and his wife Angie, and her nephews and nieces, Cory Hysinger (Caitlin), Whitney
Phillips (John), Logan Brooks, Dallas Brooks, Lorien Lightfoot, and Lindon Kellett (Michael), and her
great nieces and nephews, Sadie Rae, Gabriel, Victoria, Freddy and William. She is preceded in
death by her parents, Patsy and Ronald Brooks, Jimmy Mowery, and nephew, Colton Hysinger.

Robin was born on September 25, 1960, in Knoxville, TN, to parents Jimmy and Patsy Mowery. She
graduated from South Young HS in 1977 and received Associate Degrees in Accounting and
Management from the Knoxville Business College. She spent her career working for University
Anesthesiologists at UT Medical Center. Upon her retirement, she maintained an active volunteer
role, serving as a library aide at Southside elementary school, delivering MANNA for the local
hospital, and volunteering at the Clothes’ Closet.
Robin was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, fiancé, and friend.
Robin was deeply involved with her church family at Rainbow City United Methodist Church, working
with the Children’s church and choir. Robin, saw the very best in people, seeking ways to support and
build them up, often before herself. Robin was quick to love and slow to judge.
A celebration of Robin’s life will be held at Companion Funeral Home on Saturday, August 14 at
12:30 pm, family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am. Pastor Ricky Smith will officiate. All are
welcome to attend and celebrate Robin’s life. Flowers or a donation to Variety, The Children’s
Charity, in her honor would be greatly appreciated.
