Robert "Scott" Alford

Scott Alford, age 58 of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland. Born on February 27, 1963 in Biloxi, Mississippi to the late Bert and Joyce Coleman Alford, he lived a majority of his life in Bradley County and was of the Baptist faith. Scott worked for several years for the Bradley County Juvenile Corrections and at the YMCA. An avid Alabama fan, his passion in life was powerlifting. Scott was ranked 2nd in the world for his age and weight and was the first person in Tennessee to total 10 times his body weight.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his son, Colby Alford; sister, Darlene and Tom Ledford; niece, Brandy Daniels and several extended family and a host of friends.
A Graveside service to Celebrate the Life of Robert “Scott” Alford will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10AM til 1PM on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home
