Robert Lee Wilson

Robert Lee “Bob” Wilson, 77, a resident of Spring City, TN passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at his home. He graduated from Polk County High School and Tennessee Technological University with a Master’s degree. His desire to care for the elderly led to a long career as a licensed Healthcare Administrator. He was also a member of the Knoxville chapter of the Cherokee Lodge Masons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Mae Wilson; sisters, Bea, Lois, and Myrtle “Toostie” Green; brother, Paul Wilson.
Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory, his brothers, Harold Wilson (Carol) of Knoxville, TN; Lloyd Wilson of Cartersville, GA; Mike Wilson (Linda) of Benton, TN; sister-in-law, Judy Wilson, along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is also survived by, Mary Lewis, Martha Clark, and Allen Clark (Shannon) as well as Bob’s two grandchildren, Maeve and Spencer Clark.
The visitation for Robert will be held Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 12-2pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel. The celebration of life service will be held at 2pm in the chapel. The interment will be immediately following the service at Benton Memorial Gardens.
