Robert Lee Martin

Robert Lee Martin, 76, of Cleveland, TN passed away on June 30, 2023. He was born on December 7, 1946 to the late Houston Martin and Nancy Martin. Robert was an employee of the Ford Motor Company for 32 years. He loved watching the Chicago Bears and Blackhawks; enjoyed yardwork and working with his hands.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his wife Rebecca Martin; siblings: Charles Martin, Lilly Bell Rymer, Alma Pritt, and Mary Lois Lindsey.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Robert C. Martin and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Robert’s family will receive friends from 4pm until 7pm on Friday July 7th at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home and from 10:30am until 11:30am on Saturday July 8th at Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul located at 214 E 8th St, Chattanooga, TN 37402. A funeral mass will be held at 11:30am following visitation.
