Robert Lee Conner

Robert Lee Conner, 86, born September 1, 1931 and a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, went to be with God on September 28, 2017.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 38 years, Donna Conner; daughters, Brittanie Conner, Stephanie Duke, and Carolyn White; sons, Charles Conner and William Conner; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren all of Cleveland, Tennessee, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Robert was a great husband, father, and friend to all that knew him and he will be truly missed. He was always an extremely hard worker, always providing for his family, and he was always happy to do it. Many knew Robert as the best story teller there was. He was and will always be a hero to his family.
The family will have a celebration of life funeral service at 2:00pm on Monday October 2, 2017 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
The family will receive friends on Sunday night, October 1, 2017 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm as well as on Monday, from 10:00am until the 2:00pm service time, both at the funeral home.
Following the service, Robert will be laid to rest in the Tumbling Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, in Copperhill, TN.
