Chickamauga, GA - Robert Jones, age 44, passed away on November 27, 2023, surrounded by the natural beauty he cherished so dearly. Since his birth, Robert was a true outdoorsman, finding solace and joy in the wilderness he explored. His untimely departure has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A native of Chickamauga, Robert was passionate about camping, bass fishing, and bow hunting. His adventurous spirit and love for the great outdoors were evident in the stories he shared and the memories he created. Whether casting a line into a serene lake or silently stalking his prey in the woods, Robert found peace in nature's embrace.

Beyond his love for the outdoors, Robert had a playful side that endeared him to friends and family alike. His infectious laughter and goofy antics were a constant source of joy for those around him. Always striving to bring a smile to the faces of others, Robert had a unique talent for lightening the mood and making any gathering a lively affair.

During his school years, Robert was a dedicated athlete, excelling in football, wrestling, and track. His love for sports extended into his adult life, fostering a sense of camaraderie and competition. He carried the lessons learned on the field into his everyday life, demonstrating resilience, teamwork, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Family held a special place in Robert's heart, and he was particularly fond of his nieces and nephews. His genuine love and care for them were evident in the special bonds he formed with Shea Jones, Shann Garner, Jalen Rapier, Kalen Rapier, Ayden Rapier, Emberlyn Adams, Oaklyn Adams, Bentley Phillips, and Neyland Boles.

Robert is survived by his "Son" Lil Bit, his father, Rickey Rapier Sr.; sister, Tiffney Corbin; brothers, Rickey Rapier Jr. and Austin Rapier; aunts Wanda Gregg, Christy Jones, Linda Quarles, and Valerie Jones; uncles Jeffrey Jones, Larry Gregg, and Jimmy Jones. His beloved mother, Virginia Rapier, precedes him in death.

The family will receive friends and well-wishers at the visitation on Monday, December 4th, from 2 pm to 6 pm. A heartfelt funeral service will follow at 6 pm, offering an opportunity to celebrate and honor the life of a man who touched the hearts of many.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Robert as the free spirit who found joy in the simplest pleasures and brought laughter to all who knew him. May his spirit live on in the memories shared and the love he bestowed upon those fortunate enough to have known him.
