Robert Holt Munns, 51, deployed for the final time into the arms of our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Robert lived his final years as a man of God and would openly witness to others with his testimony of how God saved his life, his family, and his soul. Robert was a devoted husband, father, son and brother and a fiercely loyal friend. He lived by the creed, “God, Family, Friends” and to know him was a gift.

Robert enlisted in the Navy in 1990 and was commissioned as an Officer in 2005 after being selected as Sailor of the Year on the U.S.S. George Washington, CVN 73. After a distinguished career Robert retired with the rank of Lieutenant. He continued his career in 2016 with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) as a Quality Assurance Inspector.
Robert is survived by his wife of 28 years Kelly (Metcalf) Munns; his three children, Heather Munns Gonzalez (Byron) of Richmond, VA, Holly Malone Munns stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and his son Lukas Holt Munns; his parents, Richard and Dorothy Munns of Enterprise, AL; and his sister, Pamela Munns Hutcheson (Doyle) of Ariton, AL.
