Robert Gene Lee

Robert Gene “Bob” Lee, 89, passed away in a Knoxville, TN hospital on February 4, 2021 from
complications of Covid-19. He was a long time resident of Cleveland, TN and was of Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Phyllis Maxine Lee, mother and father, Lester M.
and Ella Sue Lee and brother, Randall Lee.
He is survived by 2 children, David Lee (Jean) of Pella, Iowa and Jeanne Bowers (David) of Knoxville,
TN, a brother, Neil Lee (Pat) of Cleveland, TN, 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Salvoch (Manny) of
Centennial, CO, Aleshia Reed (Jacob) of Knoxville, TN, Patrick Lee (Rachel) of Murfreesboro, TN
and Drew Silcox (Allison) of Washburn, TN. He had 4 great grandchildren and a 5 th great grandchild
due in May.
After graduating High School, he served in the US Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War.
After leaving the military, he retired from TVA after many years of service. He loved gardening, UT
Football and working crossword puzzles.
