Robert Floyd Ragsdale Jr.

Robert Floyd Ragsdales Jr., 63, a resident of Sweetwater, TN passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. He was born on August 2, 1958 in Loudon, TN a son of the Robert Floyd Sr. & Louise Ragsdale. Robert was the owner of V & R Garbage Service and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife Vickie R. Ragsdale.
Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory one daughter Miranda Rogers and husband KJ, one grandson Tucker Rogers, special daughter Stephanie Melton, nine first cousins Della Pickering, Betty Woody, Wanda Cox, Danny Eblen, Linda Ragsdale, James Ragsdale, Martha Westberry, Linda Cup and Brenda Loy, sister-in-law Darlene Anderson, brother-in-laws Rick Anderson and Randy Anderson, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A service to celebrating his life is planned for Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the Athens Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with the Reverend Bill Woody officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until the 7;00 PM service time.
An interment will take place at a later date in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
