Robert Edward "Bud" Solomon, 83, of Crescent Springs, Kentucky passed peacefully surrounded by family & friends on Saturday March 7th, 2015. He was a resident of Benton, TN. Preceded in death by his father, mother & several siblings. He attended Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Etowah, TN. Robert loved playing music, teaching others to play music, making others laugh, he always had a corny joke to tell, & he knew no stranger. Above all he enjoyed surrounding himself with family & teaching them what living is really all about. Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters Rhonda Lewis, Sandra Sheriff, Debbie Collins, Julia McGivern, Amy Breeze, Mary Collins, Rebekah Solomon, Ella Combs & a son Robert C. Solomon. Along with numerous son-in-laws, a daughter-in-law, step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, brothers/sisters in the Lord & a host of special friends. A celebration of his life was held on Friday March 6th, 2015 & Saturday March 7th, 2015 at 701 Hwy 30 E. Etowah, TN with family & many friends. Robert was a giving man & would have preferred, in lieu of flowers, a donation to be made in his name to charities or church. Robert will be missed & never forgotten, resting in peace now with his Heavenly Father.
