Robert Charles Murphy

Robert Charles Murphy, of Niota TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2021. He was born in Brooklyn NY on October 6 1939 to the late Thomas and Grace Murphy. He served in the Coast Guard and worked as a pipefitter/steam fitter with Local Union 725 out of Miami FL. He worked for many years on power houses and found himself in the build of Watts Bar back in 1975. Robert and Janet fell in love with East TN and planted themselves here in Niota.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 61 years Janet L Murphy, son Robert and wife Mary, son Michael and wife Lorri and daughter Renee Johnson and husband Wayne, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, friends and family.
