Robert C. Keller Jr.

Robert C. Keller Jr., 60, of Sweetwater, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was born September 1, 1962 in Elyria, Ohio to the late Robert C. Keller Sr. and Shirley Hebebrand.

Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; niece, Kristen Olmstead; as well as his aunts and uncles.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Jennifer Mclemore of Sweetwater, TN, Amanda (Brian) Smith of Sweetwater, TN, Tisha (Bobby) Trotter of Maryville, TN; his siblings, Rita (John) Higgins, Frieda (Tony) Monteolone, and Don Keller, all of Elyria, Ohio; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; his beloved girlfriend, Jo-Ann Johnson of Smithville, TN; special friends and family, Michelle Hall and Tammy Cosgray; along with his most loved baby, Evie (his furbaby). He will be missed by so many until we see him again.

Robert was a lifelong over the road truck driver and loved to see the world until he retired from Harrison’s Transport in 2012. Since retiring, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and girlfriend, working on mowers with his buddy Billy, and sneaking off to North Carolina to hit the casino with his cousin and best friend, David and Steven Keller. His hobbies now will include walking the golden floor of Heaven and watching his family grow. Robert loved his girls (Evie included) and his grandchildren with all his heart and he will live on through each one of them.

A celebration of life service will be held on October 28, 2022 at Companion Funeral Home of Athens with Reverend Kenny Keller officiating at 7:00 p.m. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
