Obituary
Robert “Bob” Rogers, 51, of Kingsport, Tennessee passed away on October 8th, 2013 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee after a lengthy illness. Bob was a 1980 graduate of Ketron High School and was a retired employee of Sullivan County School Systems. Bob was of the Christian Faith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jerry Lynn Rogers; maternal grandparents, Opal and Robert Neill; paternal grandparents, Logan and Emma Rogers; his father in law, Nathan Paul Hood; and his brother Harold “Gene” Rogers.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Angel Hood Rogers; son and daughter in law, Nathan and Kimberly Rogers of Kingsport, TN; daughter and son in law, Casey and Trey Lowrance; grandsons, Cade, Coen, and Chasen Lowrance of Chattanooga, TN; father, Harold Rogers and wife Alma; brothers, Scott Rogers and wife Vanessa, David Rogers and wife Kristie, Mark Rogers and wife Cindy; mother in law Maxie Hood; several nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family and friends.
The Family would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the physicians and staff of Erlanger Hospital for the excellent care and compassion that was shown to Mr. Rogers and his family.
