Robert Alden Mcwilliams

Robert McWilliams, 81 years of age of Ten Mile, TN passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, at his home with his wife by his side. He was born on October 1, 1940, in Olney, IL. Bob served in the U. S. Navy. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. He was retired from the St. Paul Company (formerly Economy Fire & Casualty Company) after working 30 years. He was a member of the Luminary United Methodist Church (UMC).

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Walter & Dorothy McWilliams of Mt. Carmel, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of 60 years, one daughter Louanne Fay of Westfield, IN, three grandchildren Cameron Fay, Amanda Fay Walton (Vince) and Ashleigh Magill (Mark), two great grandchildren John Dickson and Vincent Walton. Bob is also survived by sisters Shirley Hilsmier of Narrows, VA, Linda Kay Hadra (Joe) of Mt. Carmel, IL, Diana Phipps of Jacksonville, IL. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Marilea McConnell of Douglasville, GA, Deanna Peters (Nick) of Mt. Carmel, IL along with several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Luminary UMC located at 3401 River Road in Ten Mile, TN. A memorial service will conclude the visitation time at 3:00 PM with the Reverend Kevin Gray officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Luminary UMC in Bob’s memory.
