Robbie Richardson Free

Robbie went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2024.

Robbie was born November 29, 1954 in Charleston, MS to Joe Card and Mary Alice Brewer Card. Later she was adopted by her stepfather Rev. E.Q. Richardson. She graduated Ruleville High School May 1972. Robbie worked 31 years at the Mississippi Department of Corrections at Parchman, MS mostly the Chaplains Department which she enjoyed tremendously. She was the church pianist for many years. And she loved to cook for family and friends.

Robbie married the love of her life Walter Free on February 2, 1972. They were married almost 52 years. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Reverend E.Q. Richardson and Mary Alice, Brewer Richardson, her son Nathan Free, and twin sons John, Walter Free and Ronald Joe Free. Brothers Dr. Travis Richardson and Philip Richardson. She is survived by her loving husband Walter, sons Ronnie (Tonya) of Old Fort, TN, Jason (Shavon) of Pontotoc, MS. Grandchildren Ashlee Free, Cameron Free, Caleb Free, Tyler England, Noah England (Lexi), Andrew Williams, Emilee Williams, Luke Swain and Ella Swain. And 2 great grandchildren. Her sisters Miriam Richardson Guthrie (Glenn) of Marshall, Arkansas and Jeanette Richardson Wilkaitis of Energy, Illinois. Brother Dr. Esaias Richardson of Grenada, Mississippi. Many adoring nieces and nephews.

The family would love to thank Kerrie of Tennova Hospital and also Hospice of Chattanooga for all they did in caring for her.

Robbie's family will receive friends from 10am until 12pm on Tuesday January 9th at The Olive Branch Event Center located at 109 Interstate Drive, Cleveland, TN 37312. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12pm following visitation and she will be laid to rest at Fort Hill Cemetery.
