Ricky Forester

Ricky S. Forester, 62, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2024. He was born in Cleveland TN to Abe and Henrietta Forester. He later moved to Florida where he resided in Hernando.

He is pre-deceased by his wife of 34 years Mellannie Whitton Forester, his mother Henrietta Castelow Forester and his brother Ronnie Forester.

Ricky leaves behind his father Abe Forester (Bertie step-mother), son Kyle Forester, daughters Kendra Forester (Jerry Hoover), Kayla Forester and his granddaughter Lisa "Ellie" Nelson. His brothers John Forester (Denise), Jim Forester (Robin), Dennis Forester and sister Linda Satterfield. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He worked for Bill Gregory Excavation in Oxford, FL for the last five years where he enjoyed operating heavy equipment and was the best at what he did. Ricky enjoyed fishing, hunting alligators, looking for arrowheads and enjoyed listening to music, but most of all, he loved his family.

Family will meet with friends on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 10am-2pm at the Companion Funeral Home, 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN; with service to start at 2pm, David Clark officiating. Burial will follow the service at Meadow Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, 218 County Road 753, Riceville, TN.
