Ricky Alan Powell

Ricky Alan Powell, 62, a resident of Decatur, TN passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at his home. He was born in Athens, TN on July 13, 1955 a son of the late Harold & Azilee Powell. Ricky lived about 12 years in Ohio but the rest of his life was spent in McMinn and Meigs counties. He attended Outreach for Calvary Church in Riceville, TN.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother Dennis Powell.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory two daughters Candy Elaine Rogers and Stephanie Powell, three sisters Carol Kennedy, Elizabeth Boles and Dian Dunsmore, five brothers Johnny Powell, Jerry Powell, David Powell, Loyd Powell and Michael Hill, three grandchildren Donivan Chase Pritchett, Devin Paul Pritchett, Bryson Jeremiah Rogers, three great grandchildren Kinley Mae Pritchett, Khloe Marie Pritchett and Zylon Jace Lee Pritchett, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A memorial service celebrating his life is planned for Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Outreach for Calvary Church located at 151 CR 79 in Riceville, TN.
