Rick O'Tinger

Rick O’Tinger, 57, a resident of Scottsboro, Alabama, passed away on Friday January 20, 2017. He was a longtime member of Valley View Baptist Church in Guntersville, Alabama and his main love was Jesus Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Louise O’Tinger; brother, Gary Leon O’Tinger and nephew, Wayne Corbitt.
He is survived by his siblings, Rita Teague and Larry O’Tinger (Donna); friend-in-prayer, Tim Foster; life-long best friend, Jimmy Dale Harper; special friend, Sandra O’Tinger; daughters, Tonya O’Tinger and Destiny Elliott; son, Timothy Webster, and special son Michael Elliott; 5 grandchildren, 5 nephews, 6 great-nephews, 4 great-nieces, and lots of other loving relatives and friends.
A graveside service is being held at 2:00pm in the Old Sardis Cemetery in Jackson County, Alabama on Sunday January 29, 2017, with Pastor Wesley McBride officiating the service.
