Richard Walter Bigham

Obituary
Richard Walter Bigham, 70, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN went to be with his Heavenly Father in their eternal home on Wednesday morning, April 30th, 2014. Richard was born in Cleveland on May 15th, 1943 a son of the late Walter and Helen Bigham. Richard was a dedicated member of the Cleveland Cornerstone Church for many years. He and his wife Susy had recently retired from Precept Ministries in Chattanooga after twenty plus years of service. Richard loved being outdoors and enjoying all of God's wonderful creations, but most of all spent his life providing his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with a selfless, unconditional love that will never be forgotten.
In addition to his parents Richard is preceded in death by one granddaughter Ashley Bishop and one brother Bill Presswood.
Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of fifty one plus years Susy Johnson Bigham, one daughter Chanda Bigham Ingram, two sons Barry Bigham and Scott Bigham, four grandchildren Tanner Blake Bishop, Savannah Brook Bishop, Mollie Bigham and Courtney Castleberry, two great grandchildren Zander and Natalia, one sister Connie Golden, numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday afternoon, May 3rd, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Herbert Conley officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time at the funeral home.
