Richard Roberson

Richard Roberson age 87 of Cleveland, Tn went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 14, 2022 at a local hospital with his beloved family by his side. He was born on Sept. 5, 1934 in Etowah, Tn to the late William and Mae Roberson. He retired from Bowater Paper Mill after 43 years of service in 1997. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to church. He missed going when his health started declining. He would always say he couldn't wait to get back into church. He was of Baptist faith but he would tell you he was Christain if you asked him what religion he was.

He is preceded in death by his devoted and loving wife of 50 years Wanda H Roberson and son Kenneth R. Roberson. His brothers James, Charles, Roy, Ralph, Hoyt, Paul, and his only sister Billie.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: son William M (Charlene) Roberson, daughter Wynetta S Lively, grandchildren Christopher (Amber) Roberson, Ashley Roberson, Carissa (Gary) Jessmar, Edward (Reagan) Lively. Andrew Lively and special friend Larry Scroggins Great grandson Riddick Roberson and step great grandchildren Olivia and Dallas. Several nieces and nephews. And some extended family.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5 to 8 on March 23, 2022 at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
He will be cremated, family and friends will be taking his remains up to Reliance, Tn on Thursday March 24, 2022 and lay him to rest beside mama.
