Richard Phillip Beavers

Richard Phillip Beavers, 74, of Georgetown, TN passed away on February 20, 2020. He was born on December 23, 1945 to the late Charlie and Agnes Beavers. He was a lifelong resident of this area. He enjoyed many things such as farming, gathering with friends at the corner store, and napping in his recliner. In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his sister: Stella Shannon, brother Charles “Lynn” Beavers, brother in law Jack Shannon, and half brother Lloyd Beavers

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 32 years, Florence Beavers; daughters: Sally Harbon (Mark), Patricia Hyde (Fredy) and stepdaughter Denise Theodore (Keith); grandchildren: Allen Vaughn, Jessie Vaughn, and Sam Doss; great grandchildren Coleton Vaughn Harbon, Mattie Harbon, and William Doss. In addition to these he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday February 24, 2020 at Companion Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow in McInturff Cemetery.
