Preceded in death, his parents Richard Roper Mulliner Sr, and Dorothy Florence Mulliner (Sander). Survived by his spouse Nancy L Mulliner (Wagoner) and their three adult children: Richard R Mulliner III, Brian A Mulliner, and Sarah A Smith. Brian's wife Linda, and Sarah's husband Daniel. Ginger's six adult children: Mark, Stephen, Nathan, Timothy, Mara and Matthew. David and Alirene's 2 adult children: Crystal and Heather. Survived by many wonderful cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Richard Roper Mulliner Jr. (Dick) was born in Hartford CT but spent his school years in Chicago IL. Dick had fond memories of spending summers at the Indiana Sand Dunes with his siblings, Gary, Ginger, and Davie. Dick attended Arizona State University, earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dick married his surviving wife of 57 years, Nancy Lou Wagoner and endearingly referred to her as his "Fancy Nancy". Dick spent his career years as a Mechanical Engineer, Sales Manager, Architect and Pastor.

Dick and Nancy's three children: Rick (57), Brian (55) and Sarah (47) were born in the San Jose Bay Area of California. In 1981, Dick moved the family to the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California and played a vital role in starting a church in Pollock Pines. Dick, Nancy, and the family generously served at Christian Life Center for almost 20 years in many service and ministry capacities. While living within the foothills, Dick also built multiple homes, a successful architectural design business, and reared his three children.

In 1998, Dick and Nancy moved to Bethany University in Scotts Valley CA, where he earned his B.A. degree in Ministerial Studies. While at Bethany, Dick also played a vital role building several duplex housing units, refurbishing multiple on-campus buildings, serving as the Associate Pastor at the Felton Assembly of God Church, and continued his architectural business.

In the early 2000's, Dick and Nancy moved to the Branson MO area, where together they began their retirement years. Despite retirement, Dick refurbished multiple homes, served within several ministry capacities at their local church, and worked at Silver Dollar City in Branson MO. In 2019, Dick and Nancy moved to Berryville, AR and called it home for the final 5 years of his life. They were active members of King River Church in Berryville, AR.

During their 20 years in the Branson MO area, Dick and Nancy lived close to Rick, Sarah and her husband Daniel. Dick was a loving and active father and grandfather. He enjoyed working with Rick on multiple building projects, and helping Sarah and Dan raise their five children. Dick enjoyed their farm life, and one could often find him throwing hay bales, building shelter for the animals, and walking trails on the property. The moments he shared with each of them created memories that will last a lifetime.

Brian and Linda lived in California, Arizona, North Carolina, Florida and Tennessee. Dick and Nancy visited them often, and the four of them went on numerous adventures together. Dick's last adventure was this past April when the four of them visited Dollywood in Gatlinburg TN. Their times together are cherished memories.

Dick was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2019, Supranuclear Palsy in 2023, and B-Cell Lymphoma in 2024. As his health declined, Dick moved in with Brian and Linda in Vonore TN, where he spent his final year. While in Tennessee, Dick made many friends within the Kahite Community in Vonore TN, and at the Community Church of Tellico in Loudon TN. Additionally, he was able to spend time with his brother Gary and wife Joan, who also reside in Vonore TN. During the past year Dick had amazing visits with his sister Ginger Mulliner Mellin, and brother Dave and his wife Alirene. The stories they shared are far too many to list, but if you get the chance, sit down with any of his three siblings and you'll be truly entertained.
