Richard Lynn Leroy Long

Richard Lynn LeRoy Long, 39, of Birchwood, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on March 7, 2016. He was of the Baptist faith. He was raised by his grandparents, Wilma “Moma” and James Goode.
Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilma and James Goode, Billy Joe LeRoy, and Charlene Owens.
Richard is survived by his two daughters, Keyly Nicole LeRoy of Apison, TN and Alivia Lynnee Long of Trenton, GA; one son, Austin Millard of Decatur, TN. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory, by his father, Richard “Peanut” (Donna) Long; sisters, Paige Clark, Ashley Long, Lacey Long all of Dalton, GA; birthmother, Lois Darlene McDaniel of Cleveland, TN; two brothers, Terry McDaniel, Timmy McDaniel, both of Chattanooga, TN; two sisters, April (Tommy) Colbaugh of Cleveland, TN, Barbara (Terry) Stone of Chickamauga, GA; grandpa and grandma, Robert and Ellen Long of Hixson, TN, Nanny Jewell Frazier of Birchwood, TN and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Special brothers, Anthony (Kelly) LeRoy of Birchwood, TN, Shane (Jessica) LeRoy of McDonald, special sister Sarah LeRoy of Ooltewah, TN. They were also his caretakers.
A celebration of Life Funeral Service is planned for 2:00pm on Friday, March 11th, 2016 at the Friendship Baptist Church, located at 11430 Birchwood Pike, Harrison, TN, 37341, with pastors Larry Grisham and Bud Stiltner officiating the service. Burial will follow the service in the McInturf Cemetery with Sean Brumlow, Jake Stone, Michael LeRoy, Paul Smith, Chris Swartout, and Jake Stone Jr.
A visitation period will also be held on Friday 4 hours prior from 10:00am until the 2:00pm service time.
