Richard Grayson Swafford

Richard Grayson Swafford Jr, 52, of Cleveland, TN passed away on August 23, 2022. He was born on July 3, 1970 to the late Richard and Sharon Swafford. Richie worked as an IT technician for Volkswagen for many years. He was an avid Tennessee Football Fan, enjoyed making fishing lures, and was a dog lover. Above all he loved his family and spending time with them. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 24 years, Teresa Swafford; daughter Hannah Swafford; stepsons: Jason Lemons, Jeffery Lemons, Jeremiah Pond, Casey Lemons, Matthew Lemons, and Adam Lemons; sister Angie Haynes (Stanley). He also leaves behind to cherish his memory several grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Richie’s family will receive friends on Saturday August 27th at Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel from 4:00pm until 6:00pm with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to follow at 6:00pm.
