Richard Dennis Fee

Richard Dennis Fee, 55, a resident of Calhoun, TN passed away on Thursday morning, July 12, 2017 at his home following a long battle with cancer. Richard was born on December 26, 1962 in Vermillion, OH. He grew up in Bradley County and was a longtime resident and home builder in McMinn County. Richard was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed traveling and adventuring with his wife, camping, history and architecture. He was also a classic car enthusiast and passionate about music and his role as a drummer in the local band The Crew.
He is preceded in death by his parents, H.C. and Dorothy Fee.
Richard is survived by his wife Anna Fee, daughters Rachel Fee and Victoria Fee as well as five grandchildren Emma & Sophia Fee-Corey, Stone & Irsa Fee-Prince and Nathaniel Fee “Mr. Wizard”, one brother Lewey Fee (Beth) of Loudon, TN, and two best friends Bill Boyd and Moe Edwards.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening, July 16, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN. The visitation time will conclude with a funeral service at 7:00 PM officiated by the Reverend Lake Walker.
The interment and committal service will take place on Tuesday morning, July 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Charleston, TN with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
