Richard Glenn Cartledge, 60, of Cleveland, TN and formerly of Covington, GA passed away on August 2, 2024. He was a true ambassador for Christ and soul winner, example setter. He was an elder and Armor Bearer for his pastor. Avid Georgia Football Fan. Baseball player and avid Atlanta Braves Fan sports coach, loving husband, father, grandfather. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, etc.
Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Mary Evelyn Bell; brother James Aaron Bell and Charles "Chuck" Thomas Cartledge; granddaughter Olivia Christabel Rowen Green; nephew Hunter Ray White.
Surviving relatives are wife of 22 years Nora Cartledge; children: Brandon Glenn Cartledge (Tiffany), Tiffany Danielle Cason (Chad), Erika Ann Harmon (Johnathan), god-daughter Emily Faith Tomas (Trevor); sister Robyn White (Stacey), brothers William Robert "Robbie" Bell (Christy), Bobbie Neal Cartledge (Cindy); mother-in-law Delota Rider (Ken); grandchildren: Lucas Cartledge, Kaleb Akridge, Karter Akridge, Aiden Cartledge, Brayden Cartledge, Ethan Sanders, Peyton Sweat, Landen Sweat, Emma-Gracelyn Harmon, Stevey-Rose Harmon, Leonardo Green, and Bruno Green; sister-in-law Sheila Jones (Bart); brother-in-law Jonathan Burnette (Charity). In addition to these, he leaves behind precious nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Rick's family will receive friends from 12pm until 2pm at Lakeview Community Church located at 105 Pounds Street SE, Cleveland, TN 37323 on Saturday August 3rd. A celebration of Rick's life will be held following the visitation at the church.
