Rhonda Sue "Susie" Presley

Rhonda Sue “Susie” Presley, 58, a lifelong resident of Sweetwater, TN passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 in Davidson County, TN. Susie was born in Sweetwater on September 24, 1960. She was an over the road truck driver. Susie will be remembered for “big heart” and her very caring spirit.
She is preceded in death by her father Roy Franklin Plemons Sr. and one brother Roy Plemons Jr.
Susie leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Rodney Presley and his companion Tiffany, her mother Dorothy Rodgers Plemons, four sisters Teresa Renfrey (Shawn), Dottie Spurgeon (James), Betty Wallace (Dale) and Kathy Grimes (Kenny), two brothers David Plemons and Steven Plemons (Margaret), special friends Robbin Swindle-Presley and Dora Long, numerous other extended family members and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, June 18, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street. A service celebrating her life will conclude the visitation time at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to help offset the cost of her funeral. Those donations can be made directly thru memorial tribute page at www.companionfunerals.com.
The interment and committal service will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 12:00 PM in the Forkner Chapel Cemetery in Sweetwater, TN with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
