Reyna Matilde Bazan

Reyna Matilde Bazan, 92, of Harrison, TN, passed away February 7, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born March 15, 1930, in Peru. Reyna was of the Catholic faith; she enjoyed cooking Peruvian food, knitting wool, sewing clothes, embroidering blankets, and watching soap operas.

Daughter of, Ramon Berrios and Rosa Delgado; spouse, Mariano Bazan Villaueva;

Survived by her sons, Jorge Miguel and Ramiro H; daughter, Rosa Yobana; siblings, Jose, Teodoro and Sara; grandchildren, Evelyn Karem, Madeline, Rocio Marianella, Jorge Martin, Miguel Anthony, Jacqueline, Anthony Ramiro, and Dennis Ramiro; great-grandchildren, Kamila Isabelle, Avah Grace, Jack Mariano, Catalaya Marie, Roman Alexander; nieces, Zoila, Elba, Rosario, Yanet, Maria, and Maribel; nephews, Hector, Hugo, Jorge, and Miguel; daughter and son-in-laws, Marjoriet Bazan, Gladys Tello, and Pedro Dulanto; and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Companion Funeral Home in Athens, TN, 400 S. White Street, Athens, TN 37373, from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 1:00 PM, in the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home, 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. Burial will be held at Harrison Cemetery, 5774 TN-58, Harrison, TN 37341.
