Rev. Gary J. Dansby

Rev. Gary J. Dansby,84, of Cleveland, TN, passed away March 23, 2021. Born January 11, 1937 in Lakeland, FL to the late Henry Dansby and Meddie Mae Dansby. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, bird watching, working on projects and hunting. Rev. Dansby was also of the Pentecostal/ Church of God faith.
Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Dansby; parents, Henry and Meddie Dansby and brothers, James and Lamar Dansby.
Survived by his sons, Rev. G. Dale (Debbie) Dansby, of Mayo, FL, R. Duane (Rene) Dansby, of Zebulon, GA, and Kevin (Kristen) Dansby, of Cleveland, TN; sister, Gloria Lord, of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Justin(Cindy) Dansby, of Lake City, FL, Amanda (Erick) De La Cruz, Of Branford, FL, Eren (Taylor) Jones, of Griffin, GA, Seth (Victoria) Dansby, of Williamson, GA, and David Ki and Daniel Stoyan, of Cleveland, TN; great-grandchildren, Anna Belle Dansby, of Lake City, FL; Leonardo De La Cruz, of Branford, FL, Berkley Jones, of Griffin, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to The Missions Ministry c/o Mount Olive Church.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Mount Olive Church with the service to begin at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor James Sears, Pastor Gary Sears and Rev. G. Dale Dansby, officiating. Burial will be held at Mount Olive Cemetery.
