Rebecca "Becky" Irene Varner

Rebecca (Becky) Irene Varner took her heavenly flight on Wednesday April 7th, 2021 surrounded at home by her immediate family. Becky is preceded in death by her parents Cotton and Irene Smith, baby brother Johnny Smith, her grandparents and many other friends and loved ones. She is survived by her caring husband of 45 years Reverend Gary Varner. Gary has selflessly cared for Becky since her stroke which left her paralyzed in 2007. She is also survived by her children, Amy & Blake Brafford, Cory & Jaime Varner. Grandchildren Eliza, Johnny, Emma, & James Brafford, and Lofton Varner. In addition to Gary’s care, Becky has been lovingly and tirelessly cared for by her daughter Amy, and granddaughters Eliza and Emma Brafford. Becky is also survived by many siblings, aunts & uncles, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. The family would also like to thank Hearth Hospice of Cleveland for their compassion and care over the last eight months.
