Reba Elizabeth (Stokes) Modena

Our dear Reba passed into the arms of our dear lord on Friday February 8, 2019 due to a long -standing illness. Reba met and married her husband Mark of 35 years while they both serving in the Army in Germany. Reba served 3 years active duty and 4 years in the California Reserves. Reba loved going camping with her family and riding her quad. She was an avid Bears fan and enjoyed playing bingo with her friend Jeanne Braguine.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Mark, her son; Shane and daughter; Nancy, Sister; Sharon (Roger) White of Monticello, IN. brothers; Wayne (Barbara) Stokes Elpaso, TX, Daniel (Sarena) Stokes Gary, IN and Charles Stokes Cleveland,TN. Sister in laws; Beth Peacock Lincoln, CA and Jennifer Modena Pacifica,CA, Mark's parents Renaldo and Wilma Lopez Pacifica,CA.


Preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Lillie Stokes and father in law Jerry Modena. She has many nieces, nephews and cousins, especially her be-loved niece Lori Sexton, wheatfield, IN.

You may visit with her on March 2, 2019 from 12-2 with service to follow at the chapel of Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN, Reba will be buried in Ball Play Cemetery in Old Fort, TN next to her parents.
