Reba Elder Cate

Obituary

Reba Elder Cate, 64, a lifelong resident of Ocoee, TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday morning, July 14th, 2014. Reba was born on September 20th, 1949 a daughter of the late Willie and Maude Elder. She was of the Baptist faith. Reba loved to work in her flower gardens and being outside to enjoy all that God had created.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son Austin Robinson, four brothers Willie Elder, Thomas Elder, Robert Elder and Vance Elder and one sister Edna Moyer.

Reba leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Jeffrey Robinson, one granddaughter Lyneca Robinson, one great grandson Landon, two sisters Frances Thompson and her husband Ray and Margaret “Peggy” Wilson, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Friday, July 18th, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Boanerges Baptist Church located at 234 Boanerges Church Road in Old Fort, TN with the Reverend Charles Moore and the Reverend Jerry Herron officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with her nephews serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday night, July 17th, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the funeral home chapel located at 2419 Georgetown Road and also one hour prior to the service on Friday.
