Reba Duckett

March 19, 1938 — March 23, 2024

Reba Jean (Russell) Duckett (March 19, 1938 to March 23, 2024)

Reba Duckett, 86 of Cleveland, TN received her ultimate healing and went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior in the morning hours of March 23, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham (Abe) Russell and Lennie Jane Phillips, Albert Ernest Duckett, Jr. (son), Cathy Jane (Duckett) Summars (daughter), Carl W. Summars (son-in-law), and William (Clyde/Bill) Russell (brother).

Reba was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. She enjoyed watching services from Shone Your Light Ministries and listening to gospel music. She loved animals, enjoyed quilting, and sharing her love of others through kindness and passion.

She is survived by her siblings, Sam Russell and wife Betty Jean, Gladys (Russell) Stillwell and husband Gene, Betty Lou Russell, grandchildren Carl Raylon Summars and Samantha (Summars) Mayo (Christopher Mayo), and her great-grandchildren Madison (Summars) Pierce, Saige Annmarie Pinson, and Hayden Mayo. Reba also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Andrea Catherine Davis for the extraordinary care and compassion in the final months, weeks, days, and hours of her life. While many will miss Reba's physical presence, her spirit is now free and boundless like it deserves. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that contributions be made to Alzheimer's Disease research.

Reba will be laid to rest with a Graveside Service at 11am on Saturday March 30th at Cookson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Owenby officiating.

You are invited to share a personal memory of Reba or your condolences with her family at her online memorial located at www.companionfunerals.com. Companion Funeral & Cremation Service and the Cody family are honored to assist the Duckett family with these arrangements.
