Raymond Frye

Raymond Frye, 82, a life-long resident of McMinn County passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Raymond was retired from Athens Furniture after 30 plus years. He was of the Christian Faith. Raymond was born on April 27, 1935 to the late Ray and Carrie Frye. Raymond is proceeded in death by his loving wife Betty Frye; parents listed above; one grandson, Benjamin Jack, and one sister, Eva Morgan. Left to cherish his memory, two sons, James Frye, Michael (Cynthia) Frye; daughter-in-law, Terry Frye; one sister, Betty (Charlie) Hennessee; two brothers, Tommy (Linda) Frye and Kenneth (Linda) Frye; seven grandchildren, April Frye, Chastity Jack, Mitchell (Tiffany) Frye, Brittany Morrow, Sarah Morrow, Michael Morrow, and Katie Goss. Twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and other extended family members and friends also survive. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home of Athens. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday following the 1:00 service.
