In Loving Memory of Raymond Cecil Caldwell Sr.

Raymond Cecil Caldwell Sr. of Charleston, TN, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2023, at the age of 77. He was born on August 1, 1946, in Cleveland, TN. Raymond was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to his family. He proudly obtained his high school diploma and later retired from Jackson's Manufacturing.

Raymond was a simple man who found joy in the little things in life. He had a passion for searching for hidden treasures at flea markets and yard sales, and he always had a story to share about his unique finds. He cherished spending time with his friends and family, creating cherished memories that will forever be remembered.

Raymond leaves behind a legacy of love and a lifetime of cherished moments. He is deeply mourned by his daughter, Christie Davenport, and her husband, Ernest, who were a constant source of pride and joy to him. He is also survived by his son, Wayne Howard, and his adoring grandchildren: Alicia, Cassie, Mark, Gail, Shane, Danette, and Tristan. In addition, Raymond is fondly remembered by his nephew, Frankie Frazier, and sister-in-law, Betty Gentry. He was preceded in death by his beloved lifelong companion of 49 years, Fredia L. Caldwell, his sister Geneva Frazier, and his son, Mike Howard.

A celebration of Raymond's life will take place on Friday, January 5, 2024, at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service. The visitation will begin at 12:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens following the service.
