Ray Clifford Baker, 82, a resident of Cleveland TN, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Ray was an avid outdoorsman who loved everything from hunting and fishing to trail riding and much more. He lettered all four years at Bradley high school in football and was an exceptional baseball player. He worked at Bowater papermill and then for the postal service before he retired.
He is preceded in death by his parents Johnny and Myrtle Baker; sister, Deloris Finnel; great granddaughter, Zoey Tinsley.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Joan Baker; children, Tracy (Ron) Plank, Tyler (Stephanie) Baker; brothers, Raymond (Mary) Baker, Hoyle (Lynn) Baker; grandchildren, Kristi, Chad (Brooke), Kyle Karlie Brumfiel; Callie, Joshlyn, Ty, Eryn Baker; 6 great grandchildren. As well as many other close family and friends.
There will be a celebration of life service on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 1PM with the family receiving friends from 11-1PM before the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
