Randy "Boo" Jones

Randy “Boo” Jones, age 63 of Cleveland, departed this life on Thursday, April 15, 2021 after a long battle with sickness. Born on January 20, 1958 to the late Leonard and Virginia Terry Jones in Jamestown, Tennessee where he spent his childhood, he moved to the Cleveland area in the late 1970’s and soon after went to work for Norfolk Southern Railroad, where he spent 28 years on the road. He enjoyed fishing, going to estate sales, working puzzles and doing yard work. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Danny “Bubbles” Jones and Wayne Jones; and a nephew, Terry Jones. Left behind to cherish Randy’s memory are his loving wife of 34 years, Kim Holmes Jones; daughters, Melissa Ervin and husband Jared , Heather Flippen and husband Brad; brother, Eddie Jones and his wife Susan; four grandchildren, two great- grandchildren; nieces nephews, extended family and a host of friends. A Celebration of Life and Home going for Randy “Boo” Jones will be held at 3p.m.Saturday, April 24, 2021 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home .
