Randall Jones

Randall Lynn Jones of Cleveland, Tennessee peacefully left this life on Monday February 5th, 2024 at the age of 64 following a short illness. He was surrounded by people that he loved.

Randy was born to Buddy and Opal Jones on October 17th, 1959 in Benton, Tennessee. Randy had an amazing zest for life, the people that he loved and Tennessee football and basketball. His dream was to aspire to be the next John Ward! But above everything else was his love for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Every Sunday you could find him worshiping somewhere in church! Randy also had an unparalleled love for music, his favorite being contemporary christian and 70's and 80's rock and roll. He always showed up on holidays with a self mixed cassette tape or his "boombox" ready to provide the evenings entertainment. He was also the most sought after landscaper in town. He adored mowing! But it had to be done his way. Straight rows only! No curves allowed!

Randy was preceded in death by his parents Buddy Alvin and Opal Hartley Jones. A special Aunt Reba Jean, Uncle Clarence "Nook" and cousin Mike Jones and sister-in-law Sherri Spencer Jones. He is survived by his sister Cheryl (Bobby) Cross, brother Bernard (Brittney) Jones, niece Eylish Jones (Joe Medley), nephews Christopher (Sarah) Cross, Joshua Cross, Joseph Cross, Matthew (Micayla Rowan) Cross and great niece Emma Joyce Cross. And life long beloved friend Jake Russell.

Services for Randy will be held at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, Tennesee on Saturday February 10th, 2024 from 4-6 p.m. with the Reverend Jerry Herron presiding over the service.
