Randall Goins

Obituary
Randall Goins, 76, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday October 23, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 13, 1937 to the late Earl and Ina Mae Goins. He was preceded in death by brothers Harrison Goins and Ronnie Goins and sister Barbara Jean Bigham. He served in the U.S. Army for six years. He was employed in construction at Watts Bar, where he retired after twenty years. He is a member of Hopewell Church of God and past member of East Cleveland Church of God where he was the church treasurer and actively involved in youth ministry. He loved the great outdoors, working in his garden, camping, and most of all spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Gwen Goins; kids: Rick Burrell and wife Ivonne of Fernandina Beach, FL; Duke Snyder and wife Brandy; Brandy Latham and husband Stephen, all of Cleveland; grandkids: Heather Burrell of Portland, OR; Bianca Burrell of Orlando, FL; Madden Snyder and Charlee Snyder, both of Cleveland; sisters: Ruby Rymer; Mary Smith and husband Danny; sisters-in-law: Mildred Goins and Carolyn Goins, all of Cleveland; special cousin: Pat Snyder; several nieces and nephews, special friends, and the youth throughout their ministry over the years.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Friday October 25, 2013 at Hopewell Church of God located at 5765 Eureka Road, Cleveland, TN 37312. A funeral service will be held Saturday October 26, 2013 at 1:00pm at the church. Pastor Jerry Millwood and Pastor Leon Goforth will be officiating. Interment will follow the service at Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, TN. Jeffrey Stephenson, David Stephenson, Jim Hindman, Matt Nation, Brandon Ridge, and Ron Vail will serve as pallbearers.
