Rachel Lea Scheffler moved to her heavenly home on October 4, 2022. She was born on March 27, 1987 to David and the late Coleen Scheffler in Baton Rouge, LA. Rachel was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with family friends, church family, and her sister April’s fur babies (Buster Moon, Rocky Road, Meena May, Tommy, and Leo.) Rachel loved life and didn’t let her health problems get her down while smiling and praising God.
Rachel is preceded in death by her mom Coleen Scheffler; sister Bethany Scheffler; grandmother Frances Scheffler; grandparents Henry and Gloria Autin; cousin Scott Scheffler; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Rachel leaves behind her father David Scheffler of Cleveland, TN; sister April Harmon (Mark) of Cleveland, TN; nephews Trey Hooper, Ayden Harmon and niece Emma Harmon all of Cleveland; aunts Donna Bilgrad (Martin) of Canton, GA, Tina Huther (Paul) of Bush, LA, Mary Jane Miller of Somerville, AL; uncle Bob Scheffler of Prattville, AL; cousins David Huther (Sara) of Tickfaw, LA, Jessica Bilgrad of Charlotte, NC, and Christina Cutrer (Allen) of Hammond, LA; and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, friends, and church family to cherish her memory.
Her Celebration of Life service will be held April 22, 2023 at 4:00 PM at the Church of God Jerusalem Acres located at 1826 Dalton Pike SE, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Pastor Rick Sentell officiating.
