Obituary
Preston Andrew "Pete" Smith Jr., 87, a resident of Harrison, TN passed away on Tuesday, October 8th at his home. Preston was a 45 year resident of Harrison and was born December 4th, 1925 the son of the late Preston Andrew Smith Sr and Blanche Smith. Preston was of the Baptist faith where he was a member of Lake Way Baptist Church. He loved veterans, could do anything, loves blue grass music, and his church.
Preston is preceded in death in addition to his parents two brothers King Edward Smith II and Robert Smith, five sisters Eva Harris, Alma Borders, June Deboard, Bille Bowman, and Kansas Earnest. Preston leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 34 years Daisy Lou Parrott Smith of the home, one daughter, one brother Joe Smith of Brevard, NC, two sisters Juanita Tabor of Canada and Linda Smith of Maryland, 2 grandchildren, special family Davis Weeks family, three sister-in-laws, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
The family will host a memorial gathering on Friday, October 11th, 2013 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM with the memorial service at 2 pm at LakeWay Baptist Church.
