Phyllis Ann German

Phyllis A. German, 85, of Birchwood, Tennessee passed away on September 21, 2022, at Bradley Healthcare & Rehab in Cleveland, Tennessee. She was born on July 16, 1937, in Cleveland, TN to her Father and Mother Ralph and Tilda Snyder and has been a lifelong resident for her entire life. 

Phyllis had a musical heart and loved to play the piano and sing. In her spare time, she also loved to sew. She was of the Christian Faith and was a member of the Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Cotton German; her mother Tilda Snyder; her father Ralph Synder; her sister-in-law, Kaye Steadman, and her daughter-in-law Kim German.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Chris (Sandy) German; daughters, Pam (Dennis) Cofer and Amy Lemons (Danny); sister Rondelle Stevison; best cousin Geraldine Driggins; sisters-in-law, Wava Patterson and Wilma Pickel; grandchildren, Casey Cofer, Emily German, Kristia Pearson, and Jennifer Beth Lemons; great- grandchildren Averi Pearson, Camden Calhoun, and Thea Pearson; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank the staff on wing 4 at Bradley Healthcare and Rehab Center for their wonderful care.

The family will receive friends at Companion Funeral Home on Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. 

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM, in the chapel with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. Interment will be held at McInturff Cemetery, Birchwood, TN.
