In Loving Memory of Perry Lyn Billingsley

December 14, 1968 - May 14, 2025

Perry Lyn Billingsley, age 56, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, surrounded by the family he so dearly loved. A devoted husband, father, son, brother, and "Pawpaw," Perry lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering service, and deep faith.

Perry was born on December 14, 1968, and spent his life in steadfast commitment to those around him. He was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Billingsley; maternal grandparents, T.R. and Dorothy Akin; and paternal grandparents, Malcolm and Ora Billingsley.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of nearly 33 years and best friend, Tiffany Billingsley; his daughters, Tori (Corey) Smith and Olivia Billingsley; his treasured grandchildren, Breelyn, Della, and Maddox; his mother, Becky Akin; sister, Ann Billingsley; brother, Tony (Jenny) Billingsley; in-laws, Junior and Shelby Taylor; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Perry was an active member of Stuart Heights Baptist Church, Soddy-Daisy Campus, where he served faithfully as a deacon and Awana volunteer. He was known to neighborhood children as "Mr. Perry," always ready with a kind smile and a popsicle in hand. Though he didn't claim a favorite hobby, Perry's joy was found in supporting his family and friends - always cheering from the sidelines, always putting others first.

He and Tiffany shared a rare and beautiful bond, a love rooted in friendship and selflessness. His love language was acts of service, and through that, he lived out his faith daily - truly the hands and feet of Christ to all who knew him.

Perry's legacy is one of love, humility, and unwavering devotion. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A celebration of life service will be held at Stuart Heights Baptist Church, Soddy Daisy Campus at 12:00pm on Saturday, May 17th. In lieu of flowers please designate gifts to Stuart Heights Baptist Church Awana Program.
