Penny R.(Jackson) Scoggins

Penny Rogina Scoggins, 46, a lifelong resident of this area passed away on Friday morning, January 15th, 2016 in a Chattanooga hospital. Penny was born on May 18th, 1969 to Joe Thomas “Tommy” Scoggins and the late Lillian Ledford Scoggins. She was of the Baptist faith. Penny was a devoted homemaker and mother. Music, swimming, painting and anything to do with her favorite color pink were just a few of Penny’s hobbies.
Penny is preceded in death by her mother Lillian Ledford Scoggins, one nephew Shaun Scoggins along with several aunts and two uncles.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Sarah Morrison, Kristen Jackson, McKayla Jackson and Anna Jackson, her daddy Tommy Scoggins, two grandchildren Jonathan & Danny Jackson, father of her children Michael Jackson, three sisters Tina Lawson. Tonya Darnell and Ida Scoggins, nieces Jeni Dove (Scott), Erica Darnell, Kara McGriff (Justin), C. J. Long, Bethany Craven and Breanna Gentry, nephews Tyler, Trevor & Trey Scoggins, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A graveside service is planned for Sunday, January 24th, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Archville Baptist Church Cemetery
