Peggy Imogene Humphreys

Peggy Imogene Humphreys, 82, a lifelong resident of McMinn County passed away on Monday morning, July 22, 2019 at the Starr Regional Health & Rehab in Etowah, TN. She was born here in Athens on July 5, 1937 a daughter of the late James Richard Walker and Ruth Franks Walker. She worked many years as an occupational health nurse at White Westinghouse.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Walker Humphreys, one daughter Charlotte Jackson and two brothers Jim Walker and Bill Walker.
Peggy leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Harold O’Daniel of Jacksonville, FL, two granddaughters Heather Lane (Jerad) of Athens, TN and Katosha O’Daniel of Orlando, FL, one sister Roxie O’Daniel of Cleveland, TN, one brother Lonnie Walker (Dianne) of Ocala, FL, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
In honor of Peggy’s wishes, there will be no public services at this time.
