Peggy Bullins, 80, a lifelong resident of Bradley County passed away on Thursday, December 15th, 2016 in a Chattanooga hospital. Peggy was born on November 26th, 1936 in Cleveland, TN a daughter of the late Arlie Sr. & Ruby Crane. She was a lifelong member of the North Cleveland Church of God where she served the Geneva Circle for many years. Peggy had several hobbies but what she enjoyed most was taking care of her family. She will be most remembered for being a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter Linda Bullins, two brothers Arlie Crane Jr. and Luther Crane.
Peggy leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband of fifty seven years C. W. Bullins, one son Steve Bullins and his wife Emily, three grandchildren Reed Bullins, Chandler Bullins and Evan Bullins, one brother Bob Crane and his wife Doris and one sister Martha Rogers and her husband Bill of Dayton, TN. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Saturday, December 17th, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Dixon Chapel of the North Cleveland Church of God located at 335 11th Street NE in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Mitch Maloney and the Reverend Louis Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made in Peggy’s memory to the Linda Bullins Beavers scholarship fund at Lee University. The family would like to say a special thank you to Betty Keefer for the excellent care she gave Peggy and her family during Peggy’s illness.
