Paul V. Isom Jr.

Paul V. Isom Jr., 64, a resident of Cleveland, TN moved to his Heavenly Home on Monday afternoon, November 16th, 2015. Paul was born in Athens, TN on June 10th, 1951 a son of the late Paul Sr. & Greathen Isom. He has made the Meigs and Bradley county area his home his entire life. Paul an ordained minister of the gospel was of the Baptist faith and a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. He made many acquaintances thru his 40 plus year career as an Auctioneer. Paul served Meigs county as their Circuit Court Clerk from the years 1982-1990. After leaving the circuit court he joined McDonald's restaurant where he sent twenty four plus years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son John Paul Isom, one granddaughter Emma Holt and one brother-in-law Robert Casteel.
Paul leaves behind to cherish his memory. his loving and devoted wife Cynthia Richardson Isom, one daughter and son-in-law Bethany & James Holt, two sisters Mary Jane Casteel and Betty Sue Thomason (Richard), numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends, coworkers and acquaintances.
A celebration of his life is planned for Wednesday night, November 18th, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Clingan Ridge Baptist Church located at 2412 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Russ Coffey, Reverend Ronald Guffey and the Reverend Mack Arnold officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.
The interment and graveside committal service will take place on Thursday morning, November 19th, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Good Field Cemetery in Meigs County with the Reverend Jamie Davis officiating. Paul's family and friends serving as pallbearers. The funeral procession will leave Clingan Ridge Baptist Church at 10:15 AM.
