Paul Griffith

Paul Carver Griffith passed away August18, 2023 at his home in Chattanooga, TN. He is survived by his mother Cheri Pratt Murman, his 2 brothers Michael & Sean Griffith, His Grandmother Davene Griffith and his beloved children Arwen Griffith age 13 & Mavrick Griffith age 5, both residents of Texas. They were the light of his life, they meant everything to him.

He had a large extended family, his Aunts... Dianne, Lynn Sandi & Donna & Linda and his Uncle Mark. And his cousins Missy, Neal, Jennifer, Kelly & Amanda.

He was preceded in death by his father Paul David Griffith and his grandparents, Malcolm Carver Pratt (PePaw), Paul L Griffith (Pop) and Helen E Pratt (Meema).

Paul was born in Chattanooga and lived in Shelbyville TN, Whitwell TN, Cleveland TN and lived in Texas both in Rockport & Corpus Christi for 11 years.

Paul loved cooking and feeding his friends and family and worked as a Chef for many years. He was also a life long Nerd and this last year working at McKays book store was, in his words, the best job he ever had.

Paul was a larger than life person, if you were loved by Paul you were loved deeply.

Paul requested that there not be a funeral but if you get a chance to raft the Ocoee river do that for him. He loved rafting and hiking, along with reading, playing video games and spending time talking about anything and everything. He never met a stranger.

Paul had many health issues over most of his life but he always managed to get up and keep on going.

Over the last 2 years his health couldnt rebound and his body finally stopped struggling. He passed away peacefully, in his sleep and at home.
